Introduction:
This technology s self-cultivated corn varieties that are lodging-resistant, high-yielding and suitable for high-density planting and machine harvest. Drought-resistant corn seeds are planted via BDS single-seed sowing (precise sowing by BeiDou Navigation Satellite System). With integration of mechanized transplanting and fertilization, deep phosphate fertilizing, and combination of irrigation and fertilization, corn seedlings are grown in high density. Such technology can realize water-saving irrigation, and green prevention and control of pests and weeds. After the corn turns physiologically mature, heat resources at the later stage are fully used to postpone the harvest, so as to let the corn niblets get dried on the stalk. When the kernels are dehydrated to low moisture, they are directly harvested by the machine just like the harvest of wheat. Corn kernels are then stored in the warehouse while the corn stalks are buried in the field after digging the soil deeply. This technology saves 1,851 yuan/hm compared with mechanical grain harvesting, and 3576 yuan/hm compared with manual harvesting; It reduces labor intensity, production procedures, and lowers the risk of grain mildew. It has improved the quality of corn kernels and strengthened the synergy of high yield, high quality and high efficiency in corn production.
