Project Profile: The monitoring and remote open-loop control function is implemented through a base station node with main power supply. Configuring the network, coordinating these two roles, and acting as gateways to receive phenomenon, state data from network nodes and pass it over the Internet to the server layer (cooperatively with an appropriate decoupled messaging protocol like MQTT). The server layer processes and stores this data for historical and real-time retrieval through the user dashboard. This dashboard is a user-friendly interface with intensive functionality that enables accurate monitoring of agricultural environment data and node status, and then high-level processing of the data to extract conclusions and generate alerts.
