Project Name: Anti-tumor Therapy Study of Trichosanthin

Project Profile: Trichosanthin is an effective component extracted from Trichosanthes kirilowii, Cucurbitaceae, which has significant anti-tumor activity. The aim of this project is to prolong the half-life and increase the accumulation of drugs in tumor tissues by chemical modification. Uzbekistan Academy of Sciences has strong strength in the study of natural product chemistry and Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica (SIMM) is one of the leading institutions in the field of new drug research in China. The two sides are mutually reinforcing in their cooperation.
