Ningxia Baoting New Energy Co., Ltd. was established in 2016 with a registered capital of 900 million yuan and an area of 1000 mu. Relying on the abundant coal and gas resources and industrial support policies in Ningdong, it invested 2.3 billion yuan to build a recycling project of coal tar and low-carbon alkanes. The plant adopted the international leading UOP technology in the United States and used hazardous waste as raw materials to achieve energy complementarity. It can not only "recycle, eat dry and squeeze out, turn waste into treasure", but also improve the economic added value of products and realize the extension of circular economy and industrial chain.

In 2022, the company's annual sales revenue reached 6 billion yuan, and nearly 700 people were employed. We have also built the first hydrogenation station in Northwest China to produce high-quality hydrogen with a purity of up to 99.999 percent, taking the lead in owning the first hydrogen energy bus, heavy truck, light truck, and other hydrogen energy vehicles in Ningxia, and is the first unit in Ningxia to supply hydrogen to the surrounding fine chemical enterprises. It has achieved good exploration results in the application fields of natural gas hydrogen blending, pipeline hydrogen transportation, vehicle hydrogen, coupling chemical industry, and so on. It is estimated that the Baoting Hydrogen Energy Comprehensive Utilization Project can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 300000 tons per year.

A 50-year-old tree absorbs 1.37 tons of carbon dioxide a year, and the total amount of carbon dioxide emission reduction replaced by Baoting Hydrogen Energy is equivalent to planting 220000 trees.
