Achievement: LHITS soil moisture monitoring system

Introduction:The LHITS soil moisture monitoring system consists of soil moisture monitoring node, gateway and Web server, which was independently developed by Tsinghua University. It can realize the functions of automatic collection, wireless networking and remote real-time monitoring of soil moisture in a wide area. The soil moisture monitor instrument adopts the newly developed "diatomite-filter" soil moisture sensor, which is similar to the principle of tension meter. The self-designed integrated tower and lithium battery power supply ensure the measurement accuracy, portability and stability, and can greatly reduce the production cost. At the same time, the low power consumption and high performance data transmission technology are used to ensure that the system can run stably for 3~5 years in the field.
