Project Profile: This project is based on the design and synthesis of inorganic solid materials, and takes photo electrochemical catalytic decomposition of water as the background. Work has been carried out on the regulation and improvement of electron/substance transfer dynamics at the interface of inorganic functional material and surface. By designing inorganic functional materials with special composition and structure, doping, defects and semiconductor junctions are used to induce skeleton atom rearrangement, adjust interface charge distribution, optimize energy level structure and Fermi surface state electron density, construct charged active centers and improve substrate conversion efficiency. Further optimization of the multi-dimensional micro-nanostructure improves the water infiltration, substrate diffusion and interfacial charge transfer capabilities. Finally, the construction of active sites and the regulation of electron/mass transfer kinetics are realized, the catalytic activity and stability of materials are optimized, and the key problems in photoelectrocatalysis and energy storage were solved.
