Achievement: Comprehensive Utilization and Development of The Bulk Chinese Medicinal Material-The Stem Leaf of Cultivated Astragalus Membranaceus

Introduction: Astragalus membranaceus produces a lot of non-medicinal parts "stems and leaves" every year. In addition to the advantages of the stem leaf of Astragalus membranaceus, such as high medicinal and nutritional value, it’s also rich in resources and cheap. However, the stems and leaves are tossed or burned as waste in practice, leading to environmental pollutions and serious waste in further. In this project, the extracts, feed and additives of the stem leaf of Astragalus membranaceus are studied so as to realize the comprehensive utilization. Thus, the ecological environment will be improved, industrial chain will be supplemented, and the employments will be developed in further.
