Achievement: Development Technology and Industrial Application of Marine Functional Sugar

Introduction: In this project, seaweed oligosaccharide and seaweed dietary fiber with high purity were produced by seaweed polysaccharide degrading enzyme. Relying on the scientific research and innovation strength of Ocean University of China, we have developed genetically engineered strains with independent intellectual property rights, and the enzyme activity has reached the best level reported at home and abroad. Seaweed oligosaccharides and dietary fiber have reached the international leading level. They are widely used in marine medicine (reducing blood fat and cholesterol), functional food (reducing weight), cosmetics (moisturizing and anti-radiation), feed additives (improving intestinal function), and fertilizer (plant growth promoting and inducing resistance), with zero emission and no pollution.
