Project Profile: Oligosaccharides derived from natural products with multiple positive effects on plants, including induction of plant disease resistance, enhancement of plant abiotic stress resistance and plant production. In this research achievements, a series of oligosaccharides biological pesticides and fertilizers are developed, and applied in wheat, rice, fruit trees, vegetables, cash crops and other plants on a large-scale pilot test. More than 10 technical specifications of oligosaccharides green agricultural formulations have been established. For different crops and disease prophylaxis and treatment, the integrated technology is formed through combining oligosaccharide pesticide with other green biocontrol agents. As a result, the above-ground, underground, soil and crop biological preparation system have been realized and good results have been achieved. The integrated technology showed a good application effects. Oligosaccharides agricultural products have also been applied in more than 20 provinces and cities nationwide. Among them, more than 45 million acres have been cultivated with more than 30 major crops, and it has been listed as the key promoted product by the National Agricultural Technology Extension Service Center from 2012 to 2014. This achievement has realized the industrialization, promotion and application of oligosaccharide green agricultural preparation with direct and economic benefits reaching nearly 10 billion yuan in the past three years.
