Project Profile: Northwest A & F University has developed the modular active thermal storage solar greenhouse. Its modular wall is made of a number of earth blocks with a size of 1200 mm× 1200 mm× 1000 mm. Compared with the traditional solar greenhouse with active heat storage, the construction speed of modular wall is faster. The air duct is located inside the wall and accumulates surplus heat during the day for heating at night, so as to realize the transfer of heat in time and space. When the outdoor air temperature reaches -17.0℃, the minimum indoor air temperature of modular soil active thermal storage solar greenhouse can reach more than 8℃, and the minimum indoor soil temperature can reach more than 10℃.
