Project Profile: The liquid sunlight methanol plant and the hydrogen refueling station system make full use of the abandoned electricity when generating electricity by those large-scale renewable energy sources such as solar energy, wind energy, water energy and the electricity of the thermal power and nuclear power during the valley electricity period to electrolyze water to produce high-purity hydrogen. Then they use hydrogen to react with carbon dioxide to produce methanol. Hydrogen will be stored in methanol. And the obtained methanol is transported to a hydrogen refueling station to hydrogenate the fuel cell by methanol water reforming reaction. And the separated carbon dioxide is collected and transported back to the methanol base for the production of methanol for recycling. The system provides practical and feasible new technologies for reducing carbon dioxide emissions and storing renewable energy. It has achieved certain economic benefits and has the significance of ecological civilization.
