Project Profile: In recent years, the development and utilization of geothermal energy has been paid more and more attention by the governments of various countries. The Global Geothermal Conference held in 2010 was a milestone in the development and utilization of geothermal energy. The meeting was attended by dignitaries and experts from 85 countries. The theme of the conference was "Geothermal Energy - Energy for Changing the World". The development and utilization of shallow geothermal energy is the key field of geothermal energy research and development in the world, and the main carrier of utilization is ground source heating pump (GSHP) technology. Ground source heating pump system uses a small amount of electrical energy to extract ground energy (including soil, groundwater, surface water) or discharge heat energy to the ground, so as to achieve heating and cooling of buildings. Free hot water is also available in summer using heat recovery technology. Compared with the air source heating pump air conditioning system, the system saves more than 40% energy, more than 70% energy than direct electric heating, and more than 50% more than gas boiler efficiency.
