Project Name: Aviation Flight Meteorological Monitoring and Early Warning Platform

Project Owner: Shanghai Ecological Meteorological and Satellite Remote Sensing Center

Project Profile: The platform is used for monitoring and early warning of short-impending convection, heavy fog and other disastrous weather. The platform exploits cloud cluster monitoring and early warning, satellite precipitation forecast and fog recognition products by using wind- and cloud-series satellite data and ground observation data, multi-source data fusion analysis, large data parallel computing and processing, and so on. Based on the geographic information system, a professional analysis and display platform for aviation meteorological industry is developed, which is combined with integrated meteorological observation, meteorological model prediction and industry diagnosis and analysis algorithm.
