Project Name: “Xiaoxiang-1” Scientific Experimental Satellite

Project Owner: Changsha Spacety Co., Ltd.

Project Profile: Spacety has independently developed "Xiaoxiang-1" satellite, which is a micro-satellite compliant to the international cubic star standard, within one year from requirements to designing, manufacturing and launching. This satellite is a 6U cubic star which measures 345mm*250mm*132mm and weights 8kg. And its power consumption is 23W. It is designed mainly for testing several new aerospace technologies, including space software radio test, navigation signal enhancement test, high-performance onboard computer test and high-precision optical image stabilization system test. What’s more, it was successfully launched by Long March-11F carrier rocket in Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center on November 2016. This satellite is also the first commercial satellite for scientific research in China.
